Aaj ke time pr phone ka use almost hr field mai hone lga h communication se lekr banking trasactions tk hr jagah hm apne mobile phones ka use krte h toh jaise jaise phone ka use bdh rha h waise hi waise hackers or attackers ke liye opportunity badhti ja rhi h kyuki wo hmare phone ko hack krke sirf data hi nai balki uske sath sath wo hmare trasactions ko track krke hmari credit card information ko bhi steal kr skta h, isiliye hme pta hona chahiye ki hmko konsi techniques ka use krna h jinse hm aise hackers or attackers se attack hone se bach skte h aur kis tarah hm log apni privacy ko secure kr skte h. Introduction to Unit 2

The name of our Unit 2 is Registry settings and mobile Device security , In this unit hm log actually padhte kya h ye question bohot saare students ke mind mai chal rha hoga toh isko clear krte h, Aaj ke digital era mai computers aur mobile devices hamari daily life ka important hissa ban chuke hain. Online classes, banking, shopping, social media aur official work sb kuch digital platforms pr hi depend krta h. Isi wajah se data security aur system protection ek serious concern ban gaya hai. Cyber security ka main objective systems, networks aur data ko unauthorized access, misuse aur cyber attacks se protect karne ka hota h. Windows based systems mai Registry Setting ka role bohot important hota h. Windows Registery ek central database hota h jisme operating system,hardware aur software se related important configuration settings store hoti hain. Agar registry settings ko sahi tareeke se configure kiya jae toh system ko kaafi had tak secure banaya ja skta h. USB access control, autorun disable karna, logic policies aur startup programs ko manage karna jaise security features registry ke through implement kiye jate h. Dusri taraf, Mobile devices jaise smartphones aur tablets bhi aaj cyber attackers ke main targets ban chuke hain. Malicious apps, phishing links, unsecured Wi-Fi networks aur daa leakage jaise risks mobile users ke liye common ho gye h. Isiliye mobile device security bhi cyber security ka ek importabt part h. is unit mai registry setting aur mobile devices dono ko security setting aur mobile devices dono ke security aspects ko detail mai study kiya jata h, jisse students ko system hardening aur mobile protection ke basic concepts clear ho jate h.

Registry Based Protection mechanisms

Windows system ko secure rakhne ke liy eregistry based protection kaafi useful hoti h. Windows registry ek central jagah hoti h jha system aur software ki important settings store hoti h. agar registry ko sahi tarike se configure kar diya jaye, to system par hone wale kaafi cyber attacks ko phle hi roka ja sakta ha following ways se:

Sabse pehla aur common use USB access control ka hota h. Aaj kal malware aksar pen drive ya external storage ke through system mai aa jata h. Registry settings ke through USB storage ko disable

kiya ja skta h, jisse unauthorised data transfer aur virus infection ka risk kaafi kam ho jata h.

Registry based protection ka ek important part Autorun feature ko disable karna bhi h. kai baar jb hm infected pen drive ya CD insert krte h, to malware automatically run ho jata h. Autorun h, to malware automatically run ho jata h. Autorun ko registry se desable karne pr aisa nai hota aur user ke control ke bina koi program start nai hota.

Iske alawa registry ke use Startup programs ko control karne ke liye bhi hota h. Attackers kai baar malicious software ko startup list mai add kr dete h taaki system on hote hi wo automatically chalne lage. Registry monitoring ke through aise unwanted startup entries ko detect aur remove kiya ja skta h.

User access aur password policies ko strong banana bhi registry based protection ka hissa. Strong password enforcement, logic attempts limit karna or admin access ko restrict karna registry ke through possible hota hai. Isse unauthorised users ke liye system access karna mushkil ho jata h.

Registry based protection ko effective banane ke liye regular registry backup lena jaruri hota h. Agar galti se koi wrong change ho jae ya malware registry ko corrupt kr de, to backup se system ko easily restore kiya ja skta h.

Conclusion: Overall, Registry based protection system hardening ka ek important part h jo system ko malware, unauthorized access or data theft se kaafi had tak secure banata h.
